Last week, our class had been facilitated by Cik Siti Nur Baiti and a task was given based on Sophocles's Oedipus Rex. The exercise given is about The Importance of Dialogue in a Key Scene. We were assigned to read the text earlier in order to help us in completing the task. Unfortunately, there were many of us had not even read the text thus some complications arose during the lesson. The first scene had been mistaken for the 'Scene 1' instead of the 'Prologue', and that many of us giving answers for the first question erroneously. The other confusion was due to the word 'recent' in the instruction given. There were several conflicts in the Oedipus Rex but we are to find the 'recent' or the current conflict in the scene. However, the discussion between us and Cik Siti Nur Baiti went evenly and overall it was effective.
